Konsta Kurika has an extremely hard throwing hand that can earn millions in North America.
- Ex-baseball player Konsta Kurikka is one of the toughest throwers in Europe.
- The dream of MLB is once again one step closer when Kurikka moves to the German Bundesliga.
- The Finnish promise admits that he made a mistake in his career.
The ball leaves Konsta Kurikan21, holding hands firmly.
So strong that it breaks the watermelon that has come its way into several parts. There is enough power, although it is harder than usual to throw a ball soaked in rain.
With this throwing hand, Kurikka is going to reach the top series in North America MLB.
Kurikka ended his baseball career last summer and moved on to chase his baseball dream. He is already one of the toughest pitchers in Europe.
– The tops in Europe are tossing 90 miles to the surface. The average is in the range of 84-85 miles. There are tough feeders, but I claim to be at the top of the speed fork.
The ball is thrown from the hand of an ex-baseball player into the air at its best at more than 150 kilometers per hour, or 93 miles per hour. This season, baseball has left the Finnish hand at a speed of 91 miles per hour, which means more than 146 kilometers per hour.
It is a skill that can earn millions in North America. The seasonal salary for beginners at MLB is at least $ 6-7 million, or as much as $ 6.5 million.
– All practice is done before the feeding develops. Do nothing unnecessary. Only things that help with feeding.
Big step

The Finnish promise has not yet knocked on MLB’s gates. However, the dream is one step closer next week when Kurikka moves to the German Bundesliga.
Accompanied by Haar-Disciples from Munich, one of the top teams in the Bundesliga. It is currently third in its block.
– I’m really happy. The contract lasts until the end of the period. I can stay there to practice there for the winter season too, if I want to. The team is tough.
Kurika had previously had the opportunity to move to Germany, but he decided to continue in Spain, where he played in the winter series. The Finnish baseball champion represented Valencia Antorcha.
Spain was not the right choice for career development.
– I made a mistake when I thought it would be more professional than it really was. The Spanish level was not enough. The development could have remained there. I thought I had to make a change.

Kurikka was able to play almost all possible games in Spain. He missed the competition for playgrounds.
The starting decision was confirmed in the last game. So many players were injured on the team that the coaches had to be on the field themselves.
– At the beginning, it was good and I got a lot of development. My goals were just very different from the other players. There was a feeling that I had to leave.
No salary
Valuable contacts remained in Spain. Some of the new acquaintances had played in the second highest league in North America in the Minor League.
Talent seekers were also seen in the auditorium.
– We had a tournament against German and French teams under the age of 23. There were 4-5 talent scouts. I played well against France. It certainly gave a foothold.
The Bundesliga is a more professional series than Spain. There are enough foreign players and all games are streamed.
However, Kurikka does not receive a salary.
– They cover the costs. I fund my gaming with the help of partners. I go to workouts for juniors maybe a couple of times a week. You get pocket money from it.
The top club is watching

In the winter, instead of increasing the throwing speed, Kurikka focused on technology. Different passes had to be learned more, as it is not possible to get into MLB with a hard throwing hand alone.
Developments can already be seen.
– The balls are starting to rotate more and more. I have tried different extracts and varied the feeds.
Kurikka has been assisted by a talent scout from the New York Yankees Troy Williams.
Williams was on a train transporting a Finn to Germany. The duo have discussed a lot about feeding and plans for the future.
– He’s given tips on what’s new I could test. The feedback is good. We are on a good path. Troy has been an insanely big help.

Williams believes the next step in Kurika’s career would be a U.S. university series.
– It would be a great place to develop. The stuff is done at the same level as in MLB, and the framework is in order. There are talent scouts in every game, Kurikka says.
Kurikka wants to keep his feet on the ground even when his head is cloudy. The player who wants to become a baseball star is from Juva in Southern Savonia, which, according to the latest information, has 5,892 inhabitants.
Kurikka has jokingly stated that America is like Juva, but bigger.
– There is a similar soil there as in Juva. There are a few more residents, he smiles.
