The Austrian national soccer player Konrad Laimer did not want to confirm his move to FC Bayern Munich, but hinted at a farewell to RB Leipzig.
“Everyone knows it. My contract expires in the summer. In general, it’s nice here,” said Laimer on the lawn of the Munich Arena after Leipzig’s 3-1 win on the “Sky” TV station. He could “definitely not” rule out a change.
Sky had already reported a few weeks ago that Laimer had completed both medical checks in Munich and signed a contract until 2027. The 25-year-old midfielder was considered the absolute dream player by ex-Leipzig and Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Despite his release from Bayern, Laimer will probably come to Munich.
