When she was placed on Bavaria’s head coach Vincent Kompany at the final press conference on Tuesday afternoon, however, there was still a strange scene. Specifically, Kompany’s reporter wanted to know what fascinates him about the two exceptional players and what both could possibly learn from each other.

“Learning from each other, I don’t know,” Kompany began his answer and then followed up well -awaiting things. Every player has to go his own way. Only that and that of your own development is important. He had already said that it was outstanding for Germany that both play for the German national team.

“Of course we hope that tomorrow as a team we will solve the qualities of Leverkusen. And that we get the best performance from our players,” he said. And when he listened to himself, he suddenly broke off his answer. Then he looked at the reporter and said: “You actually already noticed: I don’t really feel like answering the question.”

He caused a lot of laughter in the press room. Company also had to smile. “I’m talking now, but I just shouldn’t say anything,” said the Belgian. “I try to answer respectfully. But guys, other questions please.” Then he quickly lifted his hand and added: “There are good questions, I might be the same jobs.” Kompany continues: “But if you were sitting in my chair, you might be the same as I would feel.”
