Koen de Bruijn (36) from Antwerp became a ‘freelance dad’ four weeks ago. In concrete terms, this means that he donated a seed to his good friend Marie (34). Koen has no obligations, but neither does he have any rights. “Ties is the prettiest baby in the whole world,” says Koen proudly. “His mother and I entered into a contract before the birth. If we ever have a fight, I can still see my son half a day a month.”
