A 55-year-old resident of Koedijk was injured when fireworks exploded at his front door. The man was treated for his injuries in hospital. The perpetrators have not yet been found.
De Koedijker was at his front door on Monday evening around 10 p.m. when he was surprised by a loud bang, right in front of his home on Saskerstraat. Despite being injured in the process, he tried unsuccessfully to track down the perpetrators.
The man is back home after treatment in the hospital, the police confirm to NH Nieuws. In the hope of finding the perpetrators, the police are looking for witnesses and images of the incident.
