Kodak Black shot after Justin Bieber concert

Rapper Kodak Black was injured along with four other people in a shooting at singer Justin Bieber’s after-party on Saturday night.

Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen wrote on Instagram that a person Kodak attended Justin Bieber’s after-party with at The Nice Guy Restaurant in Los Angeles was attacked outside the location. As security guards and Kodak came to his aid, multiple shots were fired at them by an unidentified assailant.

“Fortunately, it was all caught on video. Kodak was hit in the leg. It was not life threatening, he will make a full recovery and his condition is stable.” He also posted a picture of the attack.

Police said the attack happened around 2:45 a.m. At the same time, singer Justin Bieber hosted an after-party for his previous concert. According to witnesses, the shooting took place near, but not directly in front of, the restaurant. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber was in the restaurant and left the place after learning about the shooting.

Police also said there was a “physical altercation” between several people and shots were fired by a suspect who then fled the scene. In a press release Saturday afternoon, authorities asked the public for help in identifying the suspect.

All of the injured were taken to a nearby hospital. The incident is said to be unrelated to gang crime.
