Lread, underline, annotate, making orecchiette on the pages, copying sentences that struck us. There are readers like this, who interact with books at all times. And doing it on an e-reader isn’t always easy, especially if we are studying not just reading a text. It is with this advanced and interactive player in mind that Kobo created its Elipsa linewhich today is enriched by a further evolution, the Kobo Elipsa 2E with his new pen Kobo Stylus 2.
Identikit of the interactive reader
For many the advantage of Kobo compared to other e-readers it’s in reading recommendations curated by real booksellers. But in the world of Kobo readers there are those who want books to distract themselves and those who want to learn, and often the latter have more need to interact with the text, take notes, save and easily highlight portions of text. But above all, whoever is studying a text must be able to go back and forth between chapters with ease, as well as take and review your notes.
New: Kobo Elipsa 2E notebooks
So this Kobo has been boosted, writing with the Kobo Stylus 2 has become lighter and more fluid, and allows you to write notes on everything: books and pdfs. Enlarging the text, saving notes and creating notebooks.
The largest 10.3″ screen, which can be activated in dark mode for those who wish, it also allows you to use this e-reader as a notebook. Thanks to 16 original templates, you can create real notebooks on which to copy texts, notes, write whatever you want.
With the “lasso” mode you can move portions of text or drawings in the notes pages and, by creating an “advanced notebook”, our handwriting is automatically transformed into typed text. There is also the option of look up words in our handwritten notesand to export notes and notebooks via Dropbox (soon also Google Drive).
Kobo Elipsa 2E also works with audiobooks to be listened to with Bluetooth headphones, it has a low consumption which allows it a great autonomy with each recharge and thanks to the warm light “Comfort light pro” it does not tire the eyes in the evening.
Kobo Elipsa 2E, nature in mind
Not only useful for the reader, but also good for the planet. The new Kobo Elipsa 2E is the 2nd eco-friendly e-reader by Rakuten (after Clara 2E) and is made from 85% recycled plastic from landfills, including accessories, such as its cover.
