At the request of the Alkmaarders, the KNVB has moved the time of the match AZ – FC Emmen from 2.30 pm to 8 pm on Sunday 14 May. This because of the European program of the Alkmaar club.
AZ will play the first leg in London against West Ham United for the semi-finals of the Conference League on May 11. The return is a week later in Alkmaar. AZ is still fighting for European tickets in the competition and therefore asked the KNVB to leave the time against FC Emmen on May 14.
Ajax
AZ is currently fourth in the Eredivisie, two points behind Ajax. The number three in the Eredivisie qualifies for the play-offs of the Europa League, while the number four wins a ticket for the preliminary rounds of the Conference League. On Saturday, May 6, the team of coach Pascal Jansen will play the next match in Amsterdam against Ajax.
