Seedorf thanks the KNVB and the Supervisory Board for the trust and appreciation. “As a commissioner, I can share my knowledge and experience with my colleagues within the KNVB with the aim of making a positive contribution to the game that we all love so much.”
Jan Albers, chairman of the Supervisory Board, is pleased with Seedorf’s candidacy: ,,It is great to see that former players of great names want to dedicate themselves to Dutch football. His first priority within the Supervisory Board is of course the football technical field. However, we know Clarence not only as a great player, but also as a socially involved person, someone who looks beyond his own world. This is particularly valuable in a role as a supervisory director. We look forward to working with Clarence.”
The General Meeting of Professional Football appoints the members of the Supervisory Board. The next meeting will be held on June 27.
