Knokke-Heist smoothes the beach again after accumulations due to strong winds

Due to the persistent northern wind and the drought, hills with sand form. The blown up sand makes access to beach bars and beach cabins difficult. Knokke-Heist is now using bulldozers to level the beach again to limit the height differences. Leveling will take two to three weeks.
