With this design, Knokke-Heist will have a flexible, divisible event location of no less than 5,400 m². The casino will include an underground supply zone. This will greatly minimize the impact on the neighborhood. The event locations are mainly located in the northern part of the building. There will be an event terrace with a sky bar on the roof. This renovated event center will enable Knokke-Heist to host events with the same diversity and grandeur of the past.
The art hall is also a new addition. Three stacked multifunctional exhibition halls with different heights allow groundbreaking exhibitions to be organized with national and international collections.
The new design will also include a nightclub. All casino activity will take place underground. A restaurant and wine bar will also be underground.
The total cost of the project is approximately 95 million euros. From December 17, the casino will be presented during the Horizon 8300 exhibition in the Scharpoord cultural center: Casino Knokke-Heist – a new impetus.
