Knokke-Heist allocates 3.4 million euros for competition project new casino

Architects from all over the world have until early next year to submit a preliminary design. The five remaining candidates will then receive 20,000 euros to further develop their design, the winner of which will receive 40,000 euros. Together with the costs for the organisation, the engineering offices and the architect’s fees, Knokke-Heist arrives at a total sum of 3.4 million euros. The winning project should be known in a year, and the works will then start in 2025.
