In Drenthe and the rest of the country, code yellow applies tonight due to thunderstorms. The KNMI expects this to be accompanied by locally heavy gusts of wind with a force of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour. A lot of rain can also fall in a short time and there is a small chance of hail.
The warning is in effect from 6 p.m. and will remain valid until midnight. Traffic and other outdoor activities must take into account the rough weather conditions, warns the KNMI.
After midnight, the showers can continue, but they decrease in strength.
