The KNMI has issued code yellow due to the risk of slipperiness throughout the Netherlands. For Drenthe, the warning applies until 09:00.
Road users should expect slippery roads. “In the center and north it can be locally slippery due to freezing of wet road sections,” the weather institute reports. “Halfway through Thursday morning, the smoothness disappears again.”
The KNMI also expects slipperiness this night. Code yellow will apply again from midnight, for the time being it has been issued for almost the entire Friday.
