Knife goes straight through hand but just short of the chest. 19-year-old offender from Groningen receives community service and juvenile detention

With an enormous swing, the 19-year-old boy stabbed the underage victim after an argument on the Iepenlaan in Groningen. The victim tried to protect himself by deflecting the 10-inch blade, which flew straight through his hand and broke off. It prevented the weapon from ending up in his chest, but it did have to be surgically removed later.
