Knife attack on 17-year-olds after argument in Mauerpark

Bloody fight on Saturday evening in Prenzlauer Berg! There, a 17-year-old is said to have been attacked by a group and injured with a knife!

According to the 17-year-old to the police, he was traveling with a friend of the same age when he got into an argument with a larger group in Mauerpark. He then fled.

At around 2.15 a.m. he met five to seven members of the group again in Kastanienallee. He was attacked again – this time with punches and kicks to the head and upper body.

A little later, the 17-year-old found that he was also injured by several knife wounds on his stomach and back, the police said.

The perpetrators fled on foot and on an e-scooter in the direction of Oderberger or Eberswalder Straße.

The injured youth was taken to a hospital by alarmed rescue workers and admitted to the hospital. There was no danger to life.

During the search near the site, emergency services found the alleged murder knife and secured it. The investigations into the dangerous physical injury are ongoing and have been taken over by a specialist commissioner’s office in Directorate 1 (North).
