Knack Roeselare after spectacle to semi-European final

Knack Roeselare had won the first leg 3-1, and therefore had to win two sets to advance to the semi-finals. So even a narrow loss was ok.

Maaseik and Roeselare made it a quarter final at a high level. With very little difference. But with the Limburgers who always came out on top. 25-23 in set one. 28-26 in set two. And also 28-26 in set three. So Knack had to do everything in the golden set, which had to bring the decision.

And that worked. Roeselare won that set 15-17. And so it is for the first time in a long time in the semi-finals of a European cup. And this very talented, mainly Belgian squad, has an excellent opportunity to make a shot at a European cup for the first time since 2002.
