Since Miroslav Klose has been the new coach in Altach, transfer rumors have been shooting out of the ground. At t-online, the club boss has now confirmed his interest in a special youngster.
So far it was just rumours, now the interest is official: Alexis Tibidi from VfB Stuttgart is at the top of Miroslav Klose SCR Altach’s list. This was confirmed by Altach’s managing director Christoph Längle t-online.
“Tibidi is a candidate, definitely,” said Längle, but added with regard to two other players he would like to see: “But there is nothing to report yet. Ditto Änis Ben-Hatira, ditto Jan Jurcec.”
So far there had only been rumors about a possible loan of the 18-year-old VfB talent Tibidi to the Austrian Bundesliga club. Among other things, “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” and “Stuttgarter Zeitung” had reported on this. Now Altach’s interest has been officially documented.
Klose-Klub is planning more newcomers
Altach boss Längle also revealed: “We’ll have to wait and see who else we can get over the finish line in the next few days. But there will certainly be two more reinforcements on the offensive.”
For about three weeks, the club has been coached by 2014 world champion Klose, who is taking his first steps as a professional head coach in Vorarlberg. Previously, Klose had been assistant to Joachim Löw at the DFB team and youth and assistant coach at Bayern Munich.
Ben-Hatira trained in Altach
In the Altacher environment, some fans now expect that with the former world star Klose other prominent names will switch to the SCR. Just like Tibidi. He moved from Toulouse to Stuttgart last summer and has played 13 first division games there so far.
