Liverpool (dpa) – Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp trusts the German national football team at the World Cup in Qatar “everything”.
“The way Hansi Flick portrays it is really cool. They have a good group with a good age structure. That looks interesting,” Klopp told “Sport Bild”. The draw with the group opponents Spain, Japan and the winner of the duel Costa Rica and New Zealand is not a lucky draw, but doable. “You have to find your way into a tournament like this, bite into it and fight for it. If they can do it, then of course something works,” said Klopp. “There are other big favorites at the moment that you might want to name first. But that’s not a bad situation either.”
