Klima-Glue – What is the use of this protest?

For a week Berlin had peace from the Kleber. Officially, members of the Last Generation were giving themselves (and us) a breather. The city almost felt normal again. Until chaos broke out again on Monday.

At around 7:30 a.m., Berliners were slowed down on the city highway and at 16 other locations. The situation is deadlocked, not only for Berlin’s drivers, but also for the climate movement.

The judiciary alone seems to be picking up speed for the first time when it comes to putting the stickers in their legal limits. Potsdam’s judges now see the last generation as a “criminal organization”. The public prosecutor’s office investigated this initial suspicion and thus rejected the complaint against a raid.

Police and public prosecutors searched Kleber apartments nationwide on December 13 after there had been several attacks on the PCK refinery in Schwedt.

What is the use of this protest? I stand behind him morally. But he is only loud, meaningless and ineffective. Every single 49-euro ticket brings us closer to the climate goals.
