Philipp Klement is moving from Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart to second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern, both clubs announced.
“With the move to Kaiserslautern, Philipp offers the prospect of regular playing time, and it’s also a return to his home club,” said Stuttgart’s sporting director Sven Mislintat.
In Kaiserslautern, the 29-year-old Klement went through all youth teams from 2004 to 2011. FCK did not provide any information about the transfer modalities and the contract period for Klement.
