Klas Dahlbeck and Adam Reideborn celebrate KHL championship on Russian army team

Klas Dahlbeck and Adam Reideborn celebrated the KHL championship – and that’s why the uproar was born in Sweden.

The Russian ZSKA, the central sports club of the Russian army, won the KHL championship. In the final, Metallurg Magnitogorsk fell 4–3.

In addition to the Russians, one Canadian, one Kazakh and two Swedish players raced in the ranks of ZSKA.

Swedish confirmations from ZSKA Klas Dahlbeck and Adam Reideborn have received a loud rumor in their home country that they decided to play for ZSKA until the end of the season, even though Russia started an offensive war in Ukraine.

The duo got even more crunchy when KHL’s official Twitter account posted a picture of Dahlbeck and Reideborn celebrating the championship with a wide smile on a Russian Army team shirt.

The story continues after the picture.

The Swedes cannot understand the solution of Dahlbeck and Reideborn, for example Lucas Wallmark and Joakim Nordström left ZSKA as soon as Russia began killing people in Ukraine in late February.

– to my knowledge, Wallmark and Nordström waived their salary of SEK 10-12 million when they left for Sweden, Marcus Leifby says In his column of Aftonbladet.

At the current exchange rate, the amount is approximately EUR 1–1.2 million.

No reply

Leifbyn Aftonbladet has repeatedly tried to reach out to the Swedish players left in KHL to comment on their solutions, but no one has answered the questions or necessarily even the interview requests.

Leifby would need answers to at least four major questions:

– How do they react to the Russian invasion war in Ukraine?

– How does it feel to get paid from Putin’s favorite club?

– Why didn’t they break their contracts and go home?

– Aren’t they ashamed?

In addition to ZSKA’s Deputy Captain Dahlbeck and goalkeeper Reideborn, there were also two Swedes in the final opponent: Linus Videll and Linus Hultström.

– These four and several other Swedes decided to play until the end of the season in Russia Vladimir Putin as little boys of propaganda, Leifby dominates.

Leifby thus also wonders during the World Cup about the activities of the Swedish Hockey Association with regard to the “propaganda boys”.

– The alliance does not seem to have any problem with the fact that players who have recently been useful idiots in the Russian PR machinery will soon be able to wear a Tre Kronor shirt.
