Davey Klaassen “really does not think it is possible” that fellow player Daley Blind was whistled by fans of Ajax. That happened tonight during the away match against FC Groningen.
Klaassen reacts to the flute concert together with trainer Ten Hag during the press conference. “But you can say the same about the Ajax supporters. I think that is not possible, also with regard to Daley,” says Klaassen.
Ten Hag adds: “A player who has brought so much to the club, who has brought so much to Dutch football. I don’t think there is a player on the Dutch fields with the palmares like Daley Blind has.”
The fact that the captain is treated and criticized by his own fans does not sit well with Ten Hag. “I don’t think that is possible either. Then we have a lesson to learn from abroad. Players are approached with more respect there.”
