Kat Kiwi and her owner Luc van der Bij will cross the internet. Not because they make cute cat movies together, but because his cat attacks him day and night.
“One time she is very sweet,” says Van der Bij, “but from one moment a button is about.” And that can be seen. At first glance, Kiwi seems like an innocent, somewhat shy cat. But the videos of her owner prove the opposite. On the images, Kiwi jumps out of nowhere on top of her owner, who then pulls it out. “Sometimes I walk past her and then she just attacks my legs, or then I try to stroke her and then she suddenly grabs my hand.”
Kiwi’s attacks were so common that Van der Bij decided to record the special behavior and put them on TIKTOK. “It started a bit as a joke, but it went pretty viral.” Some videos on Tiktok have already been viewed more than 1 million times.
Some viewers respond under the videos that Kiwi is bored, but according to her owner there is not the problem there. “We have enough toys and a scratching post, but she doesn’t go after the toys,” he explains. “It’s just a very special cat.”
