Groningen celebrated King’s Day in an almost old-fashioned way yesterday. Many thousands enjoyed the casual atmosphere at the free market on the Singels, took an orange tompouce with coffee, met acquaintances during a walk through the city center or enjoyed music at the Vismarkt. It was a relief for many that it was possible to celebrate King’s Day again.
