The film features King Krule & Band behind and on stage of “THE SHHHHH Tour” in 27 minutes.
King Krule has released a short film. Archy Samuel Marshall, the real name of the British singer, composer and musician, called the work “You’ll Never Guess What Happened Next…” and uploaded it to YouTube for free access.
That’s what happens in the short film
In about 27 minutes, the small live film by Anna Pollack shows recordings of the intimate tour that took the 29-year-old with his bandmates through Europe and the USA at the beginning of the year.
It begins by introducing Ignacio, George and Archy by name, on a beach in a windy, gray atmosphere. Archy often looks directly into the camera, then writes “THE SHHHHH TOUR” in the sand with a stick. In the style of old Super 8 films, recordings are then shown in front of and in clubs and bars, followed by performances and King Krule singing on stage. The camera finally accompanies the band through cafés and backstage, playing pool and talking, intimately, sometimes laughing and sometimes serious again.

More about King Krule
King Krule released his fourth album SPACE HEAVY on June 9th. With its jangle-pop melodies and two-part vocals, the new release seems much more carefree, lighter and not as dark as the previous album MAN ALIVE!.
