With its jangle-pop melodies and the two-part vocals, the new release is much more carefree, lighter and not as dark as the previous album MAN ALIVE!. In addition to the singer and his band, the clip also includes a puppy and a second dog sitting in front of a tube TV, listening to the new song while the quartet performs the new number on the beach.

Archy Marshall wrote the announced album on the commuter route between Liverpool and London. It is about the “space haunted by dreams of love, touching a tale of lost connections losing people and situations to the guillotine of the universe,” according to a press release.

HEAVY SPACE marks the fourth album (he released one of them under his real name) by the British musician and can be pre-ordered. He played in a spontaneous mini tour in Berlin last month, a European tour will probably follow the new long player, but has not yet been confirmed.
