Norway’s King Harald V, 86, has been discharged from the hospital.

The Norwegian court announced on Monday that the king is still on sick leave for the time being. During Tuesday, it will be decided whether he is in good enough shape to participate in the Norwegian National Day celebrations on Wednesday.

Harald was admitted to Oslo’s Rikshospitalet hospital a little over a week ago due to an infection that required treatment. However, the king’s condition was said to be stable.

Harald has suffered from health problems in recent years.

In December, the king was rushed to the hospital, and it was announced that he would remain on medical leave for the time being. Even then, the king was said to have an infection, which was treated with antibiotics.

In 2003, Harald was diagnosed with bladder cancer, which was operated on.

Since then, Harald has been hospitalized for, among other things, breathing problems.

In 2020, the king underwent heart surgery.
