King Charles could have become a gardener, a fashion designer or a perfumer

A blue-blooded green thumb will be crowned ruler of Great Britain today.

In June 1953, 4-year-old Prince Charles watched the coronation of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, with his hand on his cheek, really disgusted.

The boy was the first child in history to get to the parade ground at Westminster Abbey for his own parent’s coronation. Sister, a 2-year-old princess at the time Annewas not dragged into the multi-hour ceremony.

As you can see from the surviving pictures, the little prince was bored to death.

It hardly occurred to Charles that 70 years later it would be his turn for the ceremony.

Long internship

King Charles III, who will be crowned on Saturday, has had time to devote himself to his role. It has always been clear that he will inherit the crown, because sometimes it is time to leave his mother.

The Queen died in September at the age of 94.

Charles was well over retirement age, before the end of his long “training”. If the people were asked, many would give the crown directly to Charles’ son, the prince to William. However, it doesn’t work that way only in the Kingdom.

And Charles wouldn’t necessarily want to make a radical jump in the order of succession either.

In her own time, the queen was firmly committed to the service of the monarchy, even if she might have wanted to do something else as a young woman raising a family. However, when his father, King George VI died, he could not afford to be a housekeeper. The duty had to be fulfilled and the noises removed.

Charles must have grown up in a similar way of thinking: Mandatory tasks are taken care of.

A pioneer of organic farming

But if Charles told me what he really wanted to do in life, the answer might surprise you.

Without the duties of a ruler, Charles, who is known as a green thumb, could very well work as a professional gardener.

He has even been considered a pioneer of organic farming, after all, the man started tending his Highrove farms 25 years ago using ecological methods.

Originally, Charles wanted to transform the deserted land into a garden that warms the heart, pleases the eye and protects nature. Highgrove became a paradise-like combination of beautiful springs, ponds and natural meadows, where horses and cattle graze in the middle of colorful meadows of poppies, daisies and cornflowers.

Charles is even such a big gardener that he is known to “shake hands” with the tree seedlings he plants.

In addition to Highrove, Charles’ Birkhall and Clarence House tilus are both romantic and natural.

Charles’ wife Camilla is also enthusiastic about organic farming.

The couple would probably rather shovel soil in their garden than sit in the office.

The gift of creativity

It is also known that Charles has launched his own perfume called Highgrove Bouquet in collaboration with the British perfume manufacturer Penhaligon, inspired of course by the flowers he grows. The perfume is described as a fresh and confident blend of cedarwood, lavender and musk.

In addition to a nose for flowers, Charles also has an eye for style. She posed on the cover of British Vogue in the fall of 2020 and told the story of the fashion bible that she pays a lot of attention to the details of her clothes and the compatibility of colors.

Charles opposes disposable fashion and invests in durable clothes. The man uses repair services, and suits made for him are seen in use from decade to decade.

The king, who is also fond of painting, also has a gift for creativity. Could an alternative career have been found in the field of design?

A predetermined part

Or would Charles have become a station wagon after all?

The king, who loves outdoor life and hiking, would certainly like to watch his sheep grazing in the meadows with time.

As a big cheese lover, Charles might also invest in monitoring and developing the milk production of his cows, not to mention the processing of dairy products.

But King Charles now becomes, whether he likes it or not.

Even before his mother’s passing, Charles had time to take care of many tasks for the aging queen who suffered from mobility problems in her last years.

Having followed his mother’s work for seventy years, Charles certainly knows what awaits him.

– Charles, who is known to be religious and prays every day, fits his role so well that he thinks it is a part that has been predetermined for him. Each of us gets our own box to work on. In the case of Charles, the box happens to be the size of the whole of Britain, a royal expert Sanna-Mari Hovi seal.

Charles does not enjoy as much popularity as a monarch as the popular Queen Elizabeth once did.

– Charles has been considered arrogant and he has remained quite distant from the people. Charles’s reputation was strained by the Diana pictures, and like his father, he may be blunt about things. Charles has taken a rather strong stance on, for example, modern architecture, which has not been considered suitable for a king, Hovi lists.

The love story of the century

In recent years, however, Charles’s popularity has grown. According to the royal expert, one of the reasons for this is that Camilla, the woman who was so hated before, has been seen to have done the man good.

According to Hov, the people who were attached to Diana did not understand how unfairly the princess treated her husband, for example by talking about the couple’s personal problems on television. As a member of the royal family, Charles was unable to publicly respond to the allegations.

– Camilla and Charles look happy together. The idea has turned so that Charles had to give up the woman he loved for Britain. He needed to get the right kind of spouse with whom to raise heirs.

– Charles had to abandon Camilla. But he took care of the descendants for the crown and now that the situation is like this, why can’t he take the woman he loves by his side to help the king in his mission, says Hovi.

He sums up that things have turned around:

– Perhaps the love story of the century was not between Charles and Diana, but between Charles and Camilla.

Charles had the woman he loved by his side to support him in the king’s duties. PDO
