It was actually supposed to be their debut album, but Petras left it lying around unheard – until now.
On Monday (September 18th) Kim Petras surprised everyone when she released her originally rejected debut album PROBLÉMATIQUE. After Petras once confirmed that the record was supposed to be deep in a drawer and stay there, several tracks from the album were leaked in 2022. Now you can legally hear the entire work in streaming.
Apparently the singer has changed her mind and started the old project again. The released album also includes a joint song with Paris Hilton – “All She Wants” is the second song that the two artists have worked on together, after Hilton’s “Stars Are Blind”.
2022 was extremely successful for Kim Petras. Together with Sam Smith she reached first place on the Billboard Hot 100 with the song “Unholy”. In doing so, she became the first transgender artist to achieve this. Petras and Smith were also awarded a Grammy for their collaboration.
FEED THE BEAST, the pop singer’s first released album, was released in June 2023 and also includes features with Nicki Minaj and Banks.
