It is not yet clear what the cause of the dispute was occurred backstage at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles which led to Killer Mike’s arrest. According to what was stated by a spokesperson for the Los Angeles police and published by Guardian«Sunday 4 February, shortly after 4:00 p.m., a male adult was arrested and handcuffed following a physical altercation which occurred in the 700 block of Chick Hearn Court.” And again: «The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Los Angeles Police Central Division. He has been identified as Michael Render, 48; accused of a misdemeanor, is about to be released».
