The man who died yesterday after his scooter ended up in the water near Zuidlaren, is a 75-year-old resident of Zuidlaren.
The man ended up with his scooter in the water along the Zwetdijk around 15.30 yesterday. How that could have happened is not yet known. “The investigation into the cause has not yet been completed and is continuing,” the police said.
A spokesperson said yesterday that there is no suspicion of a crime.
