Killed in Iran: Nasrin Ghadri yet another police victim

AndPhD student in philosophy in Tehran Nasrin Ghadri, 35 years. And was beaten so hard by batons by the security forces during the protests that she died. So, for no reason. At least for the world outside Iran.

In Iran, women cut their hair and burn hijabs in protest of Masha Amini's death

Killed in Iran: one more victim

He is yet another victim of a harsh repression against the demonstrations that broke out in the country following the death of Mahsa Amini.

Ghadri also took to the streets to make her voice heard against the Government and the system of power that oppresses the entire population, but especially women. Hit several times on the head, Ghadri went into a coma only to die shortly after. Certainly not the first victim and certainly not the last, unfortunately, given the iron fist with which the security forces are trying to suppress any type of protest. According to the agency of Iranian human rights activists Hrananearly 15,000 have been arrested since September 16, and 319 people have died, including 50 minors.

And behind the iron fist is the Parlamanento. In fact, the vast majority of its members called for the death penalty for the protesters arrested during the protests. An appeal that goes in this direction was signed by 227 deputies out of 290 in total: the demonstrators are defined as “enemies of God”, while the protests were incited “by the US and other enemies”.

Another bloody weekend in Iran. Another woman was killed by the police

The protest grows and does not stop

But when the wave becomes a tsunami it becomes difficult to stop it. And this is how it is happening in Iran. Because with every unjust death a dissent and a rebellion arises which, at the moment, does not seem to have any intention of extinguishing.

And so even after Ghadri’s death, people took to the streets to express their disapproval, their indignation. To say enough of the conditions to which women must submit, starting with the obligation of the veil. To claim the right to be citizens on a par with husbands, fathers, brothers.

Killed in Iran amid threats and cover-ups

Angry protesters stopped traffic, blocked roads and shouted their anger against the Government, accused of having buried the girl in a hurry on Saturday morning, preventing the family from entombing her in her hometown.

And also of forcing his father to announce that it was an “illness” that caused his daughter’s death. In practice with the same mechanism used for all the other victims of this brutal war.

And, even in this case, the security forces used the hard way. They beat, shot and wounded. And also killed.
