Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Galicia and the Basque Country are on red alert due to waves on the coast up to 9 meters high, and very strong gusts of wind will also blow in those communities, according to the predictions of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), in its website, this Friday.
In orange, with significant risk, are Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia and the Valencian Community.
At the yellow level, with lower risk than the previous one, are Aragón, Castilla y León, Murcia, Navarra, La Rioja and the autonomous city of Melilla. Late in the afternoon the Canary Islands will also activate the yellow alert due to maritime storms.
