Noin the year of its thirtieth anniversary it returns to theaters, restored in 4k version, the color trilogy by Krzysztof Kieślowskithe latest work by the Polish director: Blue Film, White Film, Red Film.
Inspired by the three colors of the French flag and the three revolutionary ideals representing freedom, equality, brotherhood, the trilogy marked an era and a generation.
Blue Movie, in theaters from 11 to 13 Septembertells the story of the mourning for the loss of her husband and daughter, of a young woman played by Juliette Binoche (who won the Coppa Volpi for this role) and of her attempt to isolate herself from the world.
The film won the Golden Lion in Venice in ’93 ex-aequo with America today by Robert Altman.
