The license committee of the SM League has granted Kiekko-Espo a conditional league license for the 2024–25 season.
The matter was decided at the SM league’s extraordinary general meeting on Tuesday.
The league clubs have approved Kiekko-Espo’s entry into the series.
The conditionality of the license is related to the fact that the license committee still has to ensure that the things described in Kiekko-Espoo’s application are fulfilled. Similar investigations also apply to other license applicants, i.e. current SM league clubs.
In addition, Kiekko-Espo still has to pay the league share.
The SM league also granted a license to all current SM league clubs for the 2024–25 season. TuTo’s application, on the other hand, has been rejected.
