Kidnapping with a kidnap bus: two more men arrested

The police have arrested two more men for involvement in a possible kidnapping with a kidnap bus in Eindhoven. It concerns a 33-year-old man from Oosterhout and a 31-year-old man from Rotterdam. Two men were previously arrested for driving the kidnap bus.

The police received a report on September 28 of a ‘suspicious situation’ at Spanvlinderplein in Eindhoven. The police drove a white van there. This bus was fully equipped to kidnap people. Heavy locks were mounted on the sliding and rear doors. The entire cargo hold was covered in translucent plastic, and there seemed to be a cool box in the corner. Police previously said they suspected the bus had previously been used to kidnap someone.

While officers were investigating in and around the bus, a call came in at the control room. A man reported that he had been kidnapped for a while. The bus would have something to do with that. Two suspects were immediately arrested that evening.

The police are still investigating the relationship between this man, the white bus and the four suspects. People who have seen or heard anything suspicious are asked to come forward.

The bus was found on Wednesday evening, September 28:
