The actor has often driven without a license in recent years and has been caught several times. In addition, he also committed a criminal offense for forgery of documents. These offenses resulted in a suspended prison sentence of 10 months and the requirement to pay 20,000 euros to charities. Since he did not fulfill this obligation in a timely manner, his probation was revoked and there was a risk of imprisonment. The Berlin public prosecutor’s office has now announced when Ramadan must begin his detention.

Ramadan could receive his summons at any time and soon be in prison, reports the “Bild” newspaper. According to the tabloid, the actor will begin his imprisonment in Berlin’s Berlin-Plötzensee correctional facility. A spokesman for the Berlin public prosecutor’s office explained: “The request for admission to the prison and the summons to go to prison were initiated yesterday. The convicted person has two weeks from delivery to present himself for imprisonment.” The 47-year-old has not yet commented on the matter.
