Kid Cudi announced on Sunday (November 06) that he will have one last album as his current contract includes one project. He writes on Twitter that the album will not be released before 2024, but he will probably release individual singles in between. As early as October 6th, the rapper said in an interview that he longs for a different career and that he even thinks it would be cool to try being a kindergarten teacher and infect the youth with “freshness”.
Scott Mescudi, as Kid Cudi’s real name is, wrote on Twitter: “I’m making one more album and then I’m through with my deal and I have no idea what’s next but yeah there’s one more thing to come. Not next year, though.” In another tweet, minutes later, he added, “That [Album] is for all my fans who have been with me for so long. It will only be new music. The songs I’ve already teased I’ll probably release as singles.”

Speaking about his retirement on Oct. 6, he compared himself to artists like Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Eminem, saying, “I don’t know if I have what they have. I don’t know how much longer I want to make music – release albums. I think we’re heading towards the end with Kid Cudi.”
Most recently, on September 30, he released an album and an animated musical of the same name, ENTERGALACTIC, on Netflix. on he wrote on Twitterthe album and the 92-minute film are complementary and it is a full album and not a soundtrack.
