The ADAC GT Masters will start its 16th season at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben this weekend (April 22nd to 24th) – without Corona restrictions. The top-class field of the German GT Championship starts the 16th season with 20 cars and a premiere.

The up to 600 hp super sports cars from five brands are the first German racing series to run on environmentally friendly fuel, which consists of around 50 percent renewable components. At the start are Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche.

“Nitro” shows the start of the season live with the two races on Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. The races can be viewed online on “RTL+” and on “adac.de/motorsport”. Oschersleben is the first of seven stations in the new season, in May it will continue in Spielberg, Austria.

One of the favorites is current champion Christopher Mies (32), who will once again drive an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II with Tim Zimmermann (25). There are a total of seven former title holders in the field of drivers.
