Kick-off for e-commerce with Click & Collect

Primark has announced the 25 stores that will be the first to offer the Click & Collect service.

The Click & Collect offer, which was first announced in June, offers customers the opportunity to order a large selection of clothing, accessories and children’s products online and pick them up in selected stores.

Primark explained that the service was launched to meet “unmet demand” while increasing footfall from both existing and new customers to generate additional in-store sales.

The 25 locations selected range from large city center and suburban shops to smaller high street shops in North West England, South and West Yorkshire and North Wales including Manchester, Liverpool, Blackburn, Carlisle, Sheffield and Wrexham.

The click-and-collect trial, which is due to start before the end of the year, is the first time Primark has offered its customers the option to shop online and pick up the goods in-store at a specific time.

“We are delighted that customers in North West England, parts of Yorkshire and North Wales will soon be the first in the country to try our new Click + Collect offer,” said Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark. “From the start, they can browse and shop in our extensive range of children’s clothing and children’s room products from the comfort of their own home before picking them up in one of our 25 selected branches.”
