Khruangbin, the American funk band consisting of Laura Lee, Mark Speer and Donald Ray “DJ” Johnson Jr., is coming to Germany for a concert in November. ROLLING STONE presents.
New album on April 5th
The group released their last musical projects in 2020 with the “Texas Sun EP”, on which they received support from retro soul singer Leon Bridges, as well as their third studio album “Mordechai”.
Their new singles “May Ninth” and “A Love International” were released on February 20th.

Their new album “A LA SALA” will be released on April 5th and consists of twelve songs that are intended to be puzzle pieces from the trio’s creative past. The inspiration for this was voice memos that the musicians recorded during sound checks, on long journeys or as “epiphanies”. The trio then began to put these together in the studio for “A LA SALA”.
Khruangbin in Berlin
The band is going on a world tour with their new album and is also making a stop in Germany. On November 7th, Khruangbin will play a concert at the Tempodrom in Berlin. All information about the tour and tickets can be found on the website her concert agency DreamHaus.
