KHL’s audience numbers collapsed – “This is not normal”

The Russian hockey league KHL has started quietly. KHL audience numbers have collapsed, writes Championat. When the teams in the series have three matches behind them, many teams have fallen short of their usual number of spectators. The site highlights Amur Khabarovsk, who have not broken the 3,000 crowd mark in their first two home games. The meeting between Avtomobilist and Lokomotiv drew the Uralets Arena in Yekaterinburg to only half full on Friday night, which can accommodate 5,500 spectators.
