Reality star Khloé Kardashian caused concern among fans last year, as she was seen in paparazzi photos with a special tape on her face for months.
In October, the star revealed to the public that she has had a low-grade tumor, or melanoma, removed from her cheek.

On Wednesday, Kardashian shared her feelings and healing process related to cancer on Instagram. The reality canoeist first thought the pimple on her face was a pimple for over a year, and didn’t show any skin changes. More than four centimeters of skin had to be cut from Kardashian’s face, leaving a large surgical wound on the star’s skin. The removal of a large area of skin also left the reality star’s cheek with a dimple, which she has since patched with plastic surgery fillers.

Kardashian said in the stories section of her Instagram that she tried to hide the scar with tape for several months. The tapes flattened the healing scar lower and at the same time made sure that the scar area did not stretch.
