The talk show Khalid & Sophie is angry with Beau van Erven Dorens. According to editor-in-chief Joep School, the RTL 4 presenter is a bit uncollegial. “Well done,” he tweeted.
Khalid & Sophie closed the season yesterday with two high-profile guests: Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper, the musical children of Duncan Laurence who were discredited because of their false singing. Their performance at Sophie Hilbrand attracted a lot of attention: 843 thousand people joined the broadcast on NPO 1.
Canal Belt
According to Tina Nijkamp, these are ‘wonderful figures’ for this programme. “Nice numbers and better than the first episode of their season: 733 thousand. Coveralls Khalid and Sophie have had a better season than last year.”
She continues: “It could all be a little more early evening and less like a late-night talk show, but it was in any case a lot less elitist and canal belt.”
Angry at Beau
The performance of Mia & Dion has therefore given Khalid & Sophie good publicity, but not everyone gives the program the credits who deserves it. For example, editor-in-chief Joep School expresses his annoyance about Beau van Erven Dorens, who extensively discussed the performance last night.
Joep: “In Beau people talked for minutes about the performance and the conversation of Mia and Dion at Khalid & Sophie, without once mentioning ‘Khalid and Sophie’. Well done 👍.”
‘Wow, how dull’
It is evident that Joep finds it uncollegial and is quite annoyed. One Mrs. Hester Knieriem, who works for the VPRO, agrees completely. “Wow how dull.”
Incidentally, Beau also experienced his last broadcast of the season. Where he will be succeeded by Eva Jinek on Monday, a new talk show will start at the place of Khalid & Sophie without prominent guests: Nadia.
