New York label Khaite is reportedly evaluating possible investments and sale options to scale the brand.
According to WWD sources, creative director Catherine Holstein is in contact with potential investors and is considering a sale. In a note to the publication, the brand explained that it has grown rapidly since its debut and is gaining traction with customers and retail partners.
“In addition, investors have expressed interest in the company since it was founded with Assembled Brands in 2016,” it continues. “As we seek to continue scaling the Khaite brand, the company is evaluating investment opportunities to drive the next phase of growth and is unable to comment further beyond this statement at this time.”
The brand, which follows the ethos of classic essentials, has also caught the attention of celebrities, which may help bolster its presence in the luxury market.
The latest Resort 2023 collection builds on the label’s concept, which revolves around the New York woman – an element that Holstein consistently incorporates into every new collection.
