The kersverse covoorzitster van Jong Groen, Laura Schuyesmans (27), is chronically sick. In an interview with ‘De Krant van West-Vlaanderen’, ze vrijdag openly shared about haar kwelduivel and waarom ze zich ondanks haar ziekte toch intensively politically engagedert. “Ik zit wellicht in de laatste tien jaar van mijn leven. I will do different things for the people who come to me”, says Zegt.
Kilian Vandenhirtz (21) and Laura Schuyesmans (27) will be op September 18, when the shipping of a new national order is made, for the led by Jong Groen as new covoorzitters of the partij. Vandenhirtz and Schuyesmans worked the afgelopen two years as intensive seeds in het order. They all raise a new band with details. Syndroom van Ehlers-Danlos
Not that there is anything wrong with that, it is a crime that 27-year-old Laura from Ieper, who works in the daily life of Oxfam, has a political commitment. Ze lijdt aan een chronic ziekte, the paired gaat met veel pijn en uitdagingen.
In ‘De Krant van West-Vlaanderen’, it is announced that the first higher hair level in January doors will be damaged. “I had heard that I was listening to a syndroom from Ehlers-Danlos lijd”, says Zeuit. A first step aimed at the workings of the goods, bloody fathers and organs. “Ik ben destijds stopped with tennis in gitaar door aanhoudende pijn aan mijn pols. The first symptoms bleken. All I know is that it’s never happened.”

Now is the situation all but vergerd, and heft ze constant little by one’s hair, kneeling and rug. “I doe three dead vijf no kine om zo long mogelijk een rolstoel uit te places. We will test my intentions as strongly as possible in the house. Maar feit is: ik ga alleen maar achteruit. Deze ziekte doet ten first my levenskwaliteit dalen en zal vervolgens ok my levensduur veel inkorten”, done ze emotioneel. Het is the first one that ze hair is vertelt, maar ze vindt het belangrijk om te doen. “I want to break the taboe door.”
The covoorzitster sets out that the general life expectancy of the target is 45 years. Maar voor vrouwen the al zoveel symptoms hebben than zij, ligt ze nog eens tien jaar camp. “Dat betekent dat ik wellicht in de laatste tien jaar van mijn leven zit.” That de ziekte bij haar vroeg is ontdekt, heeft én voordeel: ze weet dat ze bepaid risky and stressful situations must be avoided. Maar de politiek, that is éen en al stress toch? “Je may not ask me before I am engaged, te zijn,” says Schuyesmans daarover. “Dat zou my grootste straf zijn. I will do everything about my life and make something different for others.”
The West-Vlaamse shows that they want to do that, too. People who are chronically interested in what could happen to them for the same levying. Schuyesman’s opinion is that there are two things that need to be done before a younger party: “The first thing we want to do is to inform and to overdo it about politics. (…) On two occasions: we want to spend more time in the beautiful cups of the other party. Wij kunnen as Jong Groen onmogelijk happy zijn met what he vandaag geurt.” (…) “The size of a traditional party has been made and we look after it as a youth party,” het daarover announces.
