The French luxury goods group Kering SA is investing again in its glasses division.
Kering Eyewear takes over the Italian glasses manufacturer Lenti, the company announced on Tuesday. The acquisition is another milestone in the ongoing industrial development strategy of the Kering subsidiary and offers the opportunity to build internal skills for the development of sunglasses in Italy ”.

The company, which is based in Bergamo, founded in 1995 and has been part of the Italian glasses group Safilo since 1996, employs around 100 people: inside and specializes in shape and surface treatments of sunglasses.
Only in April Kering Eyewear announced the takeover of two other Italian glasses manufacturers. At that time, all shares in Visard SRL and a minority stake in the Mistral SRL founded in 1991 were acquired as a spin-off.
