Kenneth Taylor simply helps Ajax past Lokomotiva Zagreb

Without too much effort, Ajax won the practice match against Croatian Lokomativa Zagreb on Saturday afternoon. In a closed game at Sportpark De Toekomst, Davy Klaassen and Daley Blind, among others, were at the kick-off. It became 3-0.

Without most internationals, including Steven Berghuis and brand new addition Steven Bergwijn Ajax got an opportunity after five minutes. Sean Klaiber struck out with the left after a pass from Jaydon Banel. After just over eighteen minutes, the team from Amsterdam could cheer. By luck, Kenneth Taylor got the ball with him and hit the long corner: 1-0.

Just before half time the score was doubled and again Taylor had an important role. He gave a great pass, from which Youri Baas could simply head the ball into the goal: 2-0. In the second half, young Ajax players in particular were given the opportunity to assert themselves. That led to a goal just before time. Substitute Ar’Jany Martha held back a long ball from Kian Fitz-Jim and found Jay Enem. He could easily tap the ball in: 3-0.

Ajax setup: Gorter; Klaiber (Gooijer/62), Schuurs (Magallan/46), Blind (Pierie/46), Baas (65. Salah-Eddine); Reign (Warmerdam/62), Klaassen (Hlynsson/46), Taylor (Fitz-Jim/46); Banel (Martha/66), Rasmussen (Enem/62), Ünüvar (Van Axel Dongen/66).
