Then he rewarded singer-songwriter Amy Grant, whose voice – according to Biden – is “a true gift from God that she shares with everyone”. And Cuban-born composer, conductor and educator Tania León, “for infusing new sounds into the soul of the nation.” And she added. “I speak for all Americans when I say that we would rather live in your world than be without you in ours.”
